Ladies and Gentlemen,

I have now left DeviantArt.

I understand how many of you will miss me. I will miss you too. I had a hard time writing a spiel suitable for a departure. The sad fact is that I can only do so much online interaction within the context of my life. I have chosen to carry on the online interaction on Imvu. I haven't entirely cut myself off from you. I still left a few things posted on the profile page.

You can still send a message to my e-mail address on Yahoo and visit my homepage on Imvu. I also left everything in the Collections. I've been told that I have very good taste; I figured that you would like to see what I've gathered over to years. I also left behind the little emoticon of Mario. A few people have suggested that it become an official emote on DeviantArt, so I kept it for purposes of linking should it actually be one.

I appreciate both the praise and criticism that I've received over the years. The latter can be embarrassing, but I also accept that they can help me know exactly how to improve my technique. I also took steps to come out of my proverbial shell with your help and I made at least one close friend, ~sasoriza-chan, who has followed me onto Imvu. If you want me to send you invitations, go ahead and let me know by e-mail and I'll send an invitation in return (invitations earn promotional credits for me). The chats on Imvu should even help me in my quest to learn and discover the human heart and the human spirit. I hope to be a blessing on Imvu. I also hope to help people in the flesh.

I want to leave you with an appeal. Give the Catholic Church a chance. She offers the Gospel of Christ, which is a Gospel of life and love. She offers new life in Christ. Do not depend on second-hand accounts--whether on the left end or the right of end of the socio-political divide. If you think Pope Benedict and Pope John Paul II are ultra-conservative, you should see some of the rantings on the 'net that make them look like Oprah Winfrey or Vladimir Lenin! I invite you to meet the Church halfway by taking time to examine her teachings and her metaphysics. Most importantly, I invite you to see Christ in the Eucharist. The bread and wine become the body and blood of Christ. Many Catholic churches should have a chapel where the consecrated host is always displayed. Jesus will wait for you. Take a while to visit Him with sincere intent. Surely He will bless you.
